In the 3rdth minute of the game Olivar Ribeiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Öz Bern SK's Kılıç Uğural was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Olivar Ribeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olivar Ribeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Öz Bern SK's zone, Olivar Ribeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kılıç Uğural came out of the goal and Olivar Ribeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nejat Akçakan hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. C.F Intercity's Olivar Ribeiro got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeremie Van Nel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frans Geurtsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.F Intercity's Jeremie Van Nel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save C.F Intercity from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Öz Bern SK's Nejat Akçakan got a free kick in the 20th minute. A nice corner shot did that Bartosz Salamon got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Kılıç Uğural quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Olivar Ribeiro took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kılıç Uğural. Kılıç Uğural dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Kılıç Uğural showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olivar Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The audience was convinced that Olivar Ribeiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kılıç Uğural was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. C.F Intercity were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after Öz Bern SK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bartosz Salamon took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Aarón Campos heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After the first half C.F Intercity were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Jeremie Van Nel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandu Stănciulaş, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After 53 played minutes Öz Bern SK got a freekick which was hit by Richard Nixon. After having played for 54 minutes, Bartosz Salamon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.F Intercity's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartosz Salamon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jeremie Van Nel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandu Stănciulaş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kılıç Uğural made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olivar Ribeiro in the 58th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Öz Bern SK's goalkeeper Kılıç Uğural had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olivar Ribeiro. 62 minutes into the match, Öz Bern SK's goal looked a bit too open when Olivar Ribeiro came free, but Kılıç Uğural reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Öz Bern SK's Kılıç Uğural got control of the ball when Olivar Ribeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. C.F Intercity made a substitution. Luis Zamora replaced Şimşek Miran. Bartosz Salamon made a great header on C.F Intercity's corner, it was just that Öz Bern SK's Kılıç Uğural managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frans Geurtsen in the 73rd minute of play forced C.F Intercity's goalkeeper Jeremie Van Nel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Öz Bern SK's Kılıç Uğural proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Öz Bern SK from getting a goal against them. C.F Intercity's Horacio Urbina was substituted for Song Xiao Li. After 78 minutes Öz Bern SK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. The supporters of C.F Intercity booed when Öz Bern SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nejat Akçakan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kılıç Uğural was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Bartosz Salamon. In the 85th minute Frans Geurtsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremie Van Nel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kılıç Uğural took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Cazacu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute of the match C.F Intercity got a corner. Öz Bern SK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bartosz Salamon ran over to the corner to take the kick. Kılıç Uğural made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Cazacu in the 91st minute. The C.F Intercity supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing C.F Intercity would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
