In the 15th minute of the match, Sven-Olof Stephansson tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ján Tuleja saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Kalle Askberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matej Adamec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alf Hansson got free with Ján Tuleja in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. FC Melon's Ján Tuleja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alf Hansson in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Steven Verhaeghen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 27 minutes, Ján Tuleja successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 28 played minutes FC Melon got a freekick which was hit by Peter Holub. Alf Hansson came free with the goalkeeper in the 28th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ján Tuleja could save by the left post. Kalle Askberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lukáš Hučka's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. After 32 minutes of play, Sundborn IF's Ted Holmgren made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ján Tuleja was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kalle Askberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lukáš Hučka, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Matej Adamec ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 93 played minutes FC Melon got a freekick which was hit by Lukáš Hučka. A collision led to FC Melon getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Tomáš Semenník hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kaloyan Mitashev in the 98th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ján Tuleja prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sundborn IF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Melon for a fine match.
