Azam Sum stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matt Sharples's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. When Traian Ursu fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Moodys IF's protests and gave Traian Ursu a yellow card for diving instead. Traian Ursu hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. David Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Azam Sum tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. YESHUA F.C's Ricardo Zamora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barnabás Selymes in the 26th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Moodys IF's Sven-Erik Martinsson was substituted for Alex Kilstedt. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brian May made a kick off. Lino Valle charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lino Valle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to YESHUA F.C getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Lino Valle hit a great ball. 55 minutes into the match, Moodys IF's goalkeeper Azam Sum had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Torres. Azam Sum made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Torres in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Moodys IF's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. John Coracera was slow to take the kick. During this time YESHUA F.C's players had a chance to rest. The corner led YESHUA F.C's Denílson Pernambucano to fire away a dangerous shot which Azam Sum despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 78 minutes, Azam Sum successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Azam Sum made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Matt Sharples sent off a good shot on target. 81 minutes into the game, Kjell-Arne Åberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Ricardo Zamora was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. YESHUA F.C's Nilmar Munhoz was substituted for David Torres. YESHUA F.C's Ricardo Zamora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjell-Arne Åberg in the 87th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Johannes Tidén got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ricardo Zamora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kjell-Arne Åberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. YESHUA F.C's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
