Kerem Aktürkoglu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jürgen Reil came out and tried to block the shot, but Kerem Aktürkoglu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 16th minute. Dan Dalman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dan Dalman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Randall Stevens having to make a save. Randall Stevens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Dalman, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Dan Dalman scored 1-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Randall Stevens, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Virgilio Kennedy might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jürgen Reil. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Virgilio Kennedy ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 34th minute Dan Dalman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Randall Stevens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boedo Crows's Jürgen Reil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kerem Aktürkoglu in the 35th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Dan Dalman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boedo Crows fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Lukasz Jazwiec could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Jürgen Reil made a huge save. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Chard United made a substitution. Martin Craven replaced Lamar Arthur. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Virgilio Kennedy made a kick off. Randall Stevens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Dalman in the 78th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Chard United's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Dalman came free, but Randall Stevens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Craven blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jürgen Reil having to make a save. The Chard United manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Boedo Crows to win.
