Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) M. Agus Young started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute, M. Agus Young ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernardino Telmo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Santa Lucia de Merlo's Norberto Tino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan do Vale in the 8th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Santa Lucia de Merlo's goalkeeper Norberto Tino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amador Patxi. Hernan Louis kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, M. Agus Young left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santa Lucia de Merlo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Bernardino Telmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from M. Agus Young in the 24th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, M. Agus Young cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Bernardino Telmo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 32 minutes into the game, Santa Lucia de Merlo's M. Agus Young nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardino Telmo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers M. Agus Young in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernardino Telmo saved Pomona AFC from getting behind. Santa Lucia de Merlo's Norberto Tino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeo Sazon in the 41st minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Vito Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 44 minutes of play, Santa Lucia de Merlo's M. Agus Young made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernardino Telmo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amador Patxi was the one to do the kick off. M. Agus Young might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernardino Telmo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. M. Agus Young ran back to his position shaking his head. Bernardino Telmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from M. Agus Young in the 54th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Santa Lucia de Merlo's goal looked a bit too open when Arturo Sugar came free, but Norberto Tino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Santa Lucia de Merlo's Polo Quinteros was substituted for M. Agus Young. The supporters of Pomona AFC booed when Santa Lucia de Merlo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bosse Spendrup didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Polo Quinteros got free with Bernardino Telmo in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Norberto Tino came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Pomona AFC's Amadeo Sazon. But to his dismay, Amadeo Sazon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Polo Quinteros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute Amador Patxi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Norberto Tino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Polo Quinteros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santa Lucia de Merlo's supporters rose to their feet, but Polo Quinteros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardino Telmo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Santa Lucia de Merlo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
