The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Concetto Mare in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabrício Adriel saved Pragmáticos 1903 from getting behind. In the 12th minute Concetto Mare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrício Adriel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Concetto Mare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clark Kent read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. After 19 minutes Zorros del Desierto's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Pragmáticos 1903's corner Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Clark Kent quite easily take care of the ball. Sebastian Indyk made in the 21st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Jean-Claude Van Damme however managed to control. Clark Kent took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clark Kent saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 36 minutes Zorros del Desierto's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis who took care of the corner kick. After a defensive mix-up in Pragmáticos 1903's zone, Concetto Mare stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabrício Adriel came out of the goal and Concetto Mare tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zorros del Desierto's Clark Kent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Zorros del Desierto's goal looked a bit too open when Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis came free, but Clark Kent reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Concetto Mare made the kick off in the second half. Clark Kent stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. If Roberto Vildosola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zorros del Desierto made a substitution. Valentin Vrânceanu replaced Dalmacio Osasun. Zorros del Desierto's Jonathan Lepe was substituted for Concetto Mare. Zorros del Desierto's Zenaido Oviedo was substituted for Emil Kapinos. 66 minutes into the game, Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Clark Kent. Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Clark Kent was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Andres-Sebastian Kanchelskis really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Fabrício Adriel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Lepe in the 75th minute of play. Zorros del Desierto's Clark Kent proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Zorros del Desierto from getting a goal against them. 81 minutes into the match, Riho Seitse dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Clark Kent, 0-3. In the 83rd minute, Pragmáticos 1903's Riho Seitse dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Jonathan Lepe spun around in front of the goal 93 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Pragmáticos 1903's goal. The Pragmáticos 1903 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pragmáticos 1903 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
