Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Horaţiu Bacalbașa in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel Neuer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Manuel Neuer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horaţiu Bacalbașa in the 10th minute of play. Wojciech Grunwalski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute Horaţiu Bacalbașa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Neuer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute of the match Bacardi Black Bats got a corner. 15 Cervezas y una Chopera's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hermenegildo Rebelo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Artur Brudzisz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arturo Mannuel in the 29th minute. Manuel Neuer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horaţiu Bacalbașa in the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horaţiu Bacalbașa in the 34th minute of play forced 15 Cervezas y una Chopera's goalkeeper Manuel Neuer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Neuer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horaţiu Bacalbașa in the 37th minute of play. If Arturo Mannuel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artur Brudzisz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gonzalo Faro in the 46th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arturo Mannuel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Artur Brudzisz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arturo Mannuel's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Artur Brudzisz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliberto Berart, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 65th minute of the match 15 Cervezas y una Chopera got a corner. Bacardi Black Bats's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gonzalo Faro ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Gonzalo Faro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bacardi Black Bats's Artur Brudzisz did a great save. 15 Cervezas y una Chopera's Manuel Neuer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermenegildo Rebelo in the 67th minute of play. Bacardi Black Bats's Paulino Maia was substituted for Yao Liang Ming. When Arturo Mannuel came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the 15 Cervezas y una Chopera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arturo Mannuel couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horaţiu Bacalbașa got free with Manuel Neuer in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 75th minute, Michal Parzysz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arturo Mannuel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arturo Mannuel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute Bacardi Black Bats were awarded a corner. Hermenegildo Rebelo went to the cornerflag to take it. After having played for 90 minutes, Arturo Mannuel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 15 Cervezas y una Chopera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arturo Mannuel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Manuel Neuer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Horaţiu Bacalbașa went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score.
