In the 11th minute Victor Bakar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diogo Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victor Bakar came free with the goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Diogo Costa could save by the left post. With a little luck, Alexandrie CF's Diogo Costa got control of the ball when Victor Bakar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Augusto Batalla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yannick Osterhagen in the 19th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Ovidio Estebe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diogo Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Bakar in the 30th minute of play. In the 39th minute of the match, Victor Bakar got a very nice opportunity to score, but Diogo Costa was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The supporters of Alexandrie CF booed when Arianos DM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidio Estebe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arianos DM's Augusto Batalla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xu Xing Ting in the 45th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Alexandrie CF's Xu Xing Ting got a free kick in the 48th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Francisco Conceicão to strike the kick off in the second half.
