DJK Füchtel Vechta's Adriano Tolin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save DJK Füchtel Vechta from getting a goal against them. After having played for 18 minutes, José Pedro Cerezo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DJK Füchtel Vechta's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Pedro Cerezo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henk-Jan Weinands received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Adriano Tolin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when José Pedro Cerezo came free, but Tom Daamen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Adriano Tolin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to DJK Füchtel Vechta getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. José Pedro Cerezo hit a great ball. Adriano Tolin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juliane Rúsin in the 44th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Raimar Reinauer came free, but Tom Daamen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, DJK Füchtel Vechta's Raimar Reinauer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tom Daamen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After the first half DJK Füchtel Vechta were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. José Pedro Cerezo was the one to do the kick off. Juliane Rúsin kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matthieu Richardot in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tom Daamen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Raimar Reinauer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Tom Daamen made a huge save. Juliane Rúsin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Adriano Tolin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Tom Daamen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matthieu Richardot. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when DJK Füchtel Vechta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rea Selbert didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boca Juniors's Oliver Alberda was substituted for Henk-Jan Weinands. Rea Selbert kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Pedro Cerezo got free with Tom Daamen in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 69th match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovanni Rinzema to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Boca Juniors's zone, Rea Selbert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tom Daamen came out of the goal and Rea Selbert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Pepijn Timmermans got a free kick in the 72nd minute. José Pedro Cerezo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Tom Daamen made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as José Pedro Cerezo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tom Daamen. That made the score 0-2 in the 72 minute of play. In the 76th of the match, Matthieu Richardot tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Tom Daamen got in the way and made a wonderful save. The corner led DJK Füchtel Vechta's Philipp Lahm to fire away a dangerous shot which Tom Daamen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 81 played minutes DJK Füchtel Vechta got a freekick which was hit by Kai Baumbach. After a defensive mix-up in DJK Füchtel Vechta's zone, Oliver Alberda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adriano Tolin came out of the goal and Oliver Alberda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adriano Tolin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Luz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Alberda in the 88th minute of play forced DJK Füchtel Vechta's goalkeeper Adriano Tolin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tom Daamen made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when José Pedro Cerezo sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Matthieu Richardot took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Tom Daamen to make any attempt to save it. 97 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Raimar Reinauer came free, but Tom Daamen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. DJK Füchtel Vechta walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
