Alexandrie CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Xu Xing Ting was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tom Daamen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 16 minutes into the match, Alexandrie CF's goalkeeper Matthias Brandin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Michel Luz. In the 18thth minute of the game Xu Xing Ting who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boca Juniors's Tom Daamen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 20th minute Alexandrie CF were awarded a corner. Fidel Domenech went to the cornerflag to take it. Tom Daamen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xu Xing Ting, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. With a little luck, Alexandrie CF's Matthias Brandin got control of the ball when Juliane Rúsin tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 27th minute Xu Xing Ting shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Daamen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juliane Rúsin got free with Matthias Brandin in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alexandrie CF's Matthias Brandin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henk-Jan Weinands in the 33rd minute of play. Tom Daamen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xu Xing Ting, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Alwin van der Gun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matthias Brandin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. In the 43rd minute, one of Alexandrie CF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Alexandrie CF. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xu Xing Ting in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tom Daamen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

51 minutes into the match, Alexandrie CF's goal looked a bit too open when Henk-Jan Weinands came free, but Matthias Brandin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 52nd match minute, Alexandrie CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wang Guang Chuan to maneuver through the defense. Matthias Brandin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Luz in the 55th minute of play. Alwin van der Gun scored 3-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matthias Brandin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alexandrie CF's Şehzade Özgur was substituted for Silvestre Perrando. Boca Juniors made a substitution. Oliver Alberda replaced Henk-Jan Weinands. Alexandrie CF's Matthias Brandin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michel Luz in the 67th minute of play. After 69 minutes of play, Boca Juniors's Oliver Alberda made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matthias Brandin was left in no man's land by his defense there! 72 minutes into the game, Juliane Rúsin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Matthias Brandin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Alexandrie CF defense, Juliane Rúsin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matthias Brandin. The Alexandrie CF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matthias Brandin should have stopped the shot. Yannick Osterhagen's late challenge caught a Boca Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yannick Osterhagen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 80th minute, Yannick Osterhagen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes into the match, Alexandrie CF's goal looked a bit too open when Oliver Alberda came free, but Matthias Brandin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boris Johnson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tom Daamen came out and tried to block the shot, but Boris Johnson slotted it home off the left post making it 7-1 in the 88th minute. Boca Juniors's Tom Daamen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Conceicão in the 90th minute of play. Fidel Domenech hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. A collision led to Alexandrie CF getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Boris Johnson hit a great ball. Matthias Brandin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliver Alberda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Conceicão came free with the goalkeeper in the 95th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Tom Daamen could save by the left post. Boca Juniors's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
