After a defensive mix-up in Momentum FC's zone, Edgard Mangueira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabian Benvido came out of the goal and Edgard Mangueira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabian Benvido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Quirino, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. C.A Gryffindor's Sarracino Marsano managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Luís Fábio Pontes in the 15 minute of the game. C.A Gryffindor's Chicão de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Parker Nuñez in the 16th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Baumer in the 17th minute of play forced C.A Gryffindor's goalkeeper Chicão de Azevedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18thth minute of the game Parker Nuñez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A Gryffindor's Chicão de Azevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arni Urb hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Fabian Benvido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Quirino in the 21st minute of play. When C.A Gryffindor's Jacinto Quirino in 24 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Fabian Benvido guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. C.A Gryffindor's Chicão de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Parker Nuñez in the 27th minute of play. Fabian Benvido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Quirino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marquinhos Filho hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Momentum FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Anier Rocendo in the 36th minute. In the 37th match minute, Momentum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arni Urb to maneuver through the defense. Sarracino Marsano kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

52 minutes into the game, Parker Nuñez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Chicão de Azevedo. Parker Nuñez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. Chicão de Azevedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Parker Nuñez in the 55th minute. Momentum FC's Fabian Benvido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marquinhos Filho in the 60th minute of play. The supporters of C.A Gryffindor booed when Momentum FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fábio Pontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabian Benvido stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacinto Quirino's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. In the 64th match minute, C.A Gryffindor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sarracino Marsano to maneuver through the defense. Jacinto Quirino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabian Benvido read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play.
