The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ovidio Mendebal during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thanks to some nice moves Mané Garrinchinha could shoot a difficult shot in the 19th minute, which Dinu Dabija however easily saved by the left post. When Mané Garrinchinha came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the CZRFERLIN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mané Garrinchinha couldn't finish the play. Dinu Dabija took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrinho Xavier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 44 minutes into the game, CZRFERLIN's Feliciano Fito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dinu Dabija made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Nicodim Zăreanu made the kick off in the second half. Claudinho Sergipano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svante Vase, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After 88 minutes, Fabrizio Carbonaro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the G16 ⚽️NEGRELE⚽️ and the CZRFERLIN players grew even worse after the yellow card.
