When Fokas Vamvakas fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GREEN LIONS's protests and gave Fokas Vamvakas a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of COSQUIN SFC booed when GREEN LIONS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fokas Vamvakas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Well-Well Chițan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tolis Prinianakis. GREEN LIONS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. COSQUIN SFC's Bayezit Tecik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Merexildo Raimundo in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th match minute, GREEN LIONS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikos Kouzoulakis to maneuver through the defense. Everardo Abella's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Tolis Prinianakis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Tolis Prinianakis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Everardo Abella in the 19th minute. Everardo Abella's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tolis Prinianakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Bayezit Tecik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benny Hill in the 28th minute of play. Everardo Abella recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bayezit Tecik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calisto Flayre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. COSQUIN SFC's Bayezit Tecik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calisto Flayre in the 42nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Abella in the 46th minute of play forced GREEN LIONS's goalkeeper Tolis Prinianakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 47 minutes GREEN LIONS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Well-Well Chițan who took care of the corner kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Everardo Abella made a kick off. A collision led to COSQUIN SFC getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Raul Ospin hit a great ball. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind GREEN LIONS's goalkeeper Tolis Prinianakis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 59 played minutes GREEN LIONS got a freekick which was hit by Nikos Kouzoulakis. Faruk Nafiz Yadigar hit a great ball. Well-Well Chițan struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Tolis Prinianakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for COSQUIN SFC. The COSQUIN SFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching GREEN LIONS's performance. The match ended with a win for GREEN LIONS.
