After a rather tough play, Samsunspor's Ulvi Nezir got a free kick in the 5th minute. Abdülhak Zeynelabidin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esteve Iratxo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Efekan Ballıoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Esteve Iratxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With 16 minutes on the clock, Pepe Mujica commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Esteve Iratxo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Cordeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Esteve Iratxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulvi Nezir in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute Ulvi Nezir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Iratxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuel Paio charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samuel Paio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 played minutes Kekambas FC got a freekick which was hit by Samuel Paio. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ettore Mancinelli was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Efekan Ballıoğlu got free with Esteve Iratxo in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Esteve Iratxo came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Samsunspor's Ettore Mancinelli. But to his dismay, Ettore Mancinelli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ettore Mancinelli got free with Esteve Iratxo in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 68 minutes into the game, Samsunspor's Ettore Mancinelli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Esteve Iratxo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Esteve Iratxo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ettore Mancinelli in the 72nd minute. In the 80th minute Eulalio Ovando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jardel de Carvalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Esteve Iratxo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Ettore Mancinelli kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Esteve Iratxo. That made the score 0-5 in the 84 minute of play. With a little luck, Kekambas FC's Esteve Iratxo got control of the ball when Ettore Mancinelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ulvi Nezir hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Samsunspor's Jardel de Carvalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Ovando in the 89th minute of play. Esteve Iratxo made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Ettore Mancinelli sent off a good shot on target.
