Zlatko Ibrahimović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Steve De Wilde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zlatko Ibrahimović in the 27th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pan Jian Yong in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. After 46 minutes Skill-Park FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gao Cheng Yun who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Leon Eleazar almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Skill-Park FC's José-Luis Chilavert did a great save. 47 minutes into the game, Gonçalo Fontoura cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. José-Luis Chilavert was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Lions United were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zlatko Ibrahimović was the one to do the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Skill-Park FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pan Jian Yong came free, but José-Luis Chilavert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Lions United's Pan Jian Yong nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lions United walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
