Ye Zheng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pan Jian Yong in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Leandro Teofilio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Steve De Wilde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Lions United's Pan Jian Yong ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ye Zheng. Ye Zheng yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Steve De Wilde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gwidon Cichocki in the 31st minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Yanick Schautens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Flamenco United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lions United the free kick. The supporters of Lions United booed when Flamenco United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yanick Schautens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lions United's Steve De Wilde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yanick Schautens in the 42nd minute of play. Flamenco United's Ye Zheng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pan Jian Yong in the 45th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costel Răducanu in the 47th minute of play forced Lions United's goalkeeper Steve De Wilde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pan Jian Yong to strike the kick off in the second half. Ye Zheng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pan Jian Yong in the 51st minute of play. Alan Specht hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Ye Zheng stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pan Jian Yong's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. In the 67th minute there was a penalty for Lions United. Gao Cheng Yun stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ye Zheng. 3-0. After having played for 75 minutes, Pan Jian Yong managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lions United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pan Jian Yong was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st minute Pan Jian Yong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ye Zheng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Flamenco United's Steve De Wilde threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Camillo Mercuri, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Costel Răducanu hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The supporters of Flamenco United booed when Lions United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Solari didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Flamenco United getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Cheng Gang Wen hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the match, Pan Jian Yong notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Flamenco United's Ye Zheng. Ye Zheng was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
