If Gaston Laurendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the match, Liechtenstein City's goal looked a bit too open when Gaston Laurendi came free, but Florian Bürzle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 11 played minutes Liechtenstein City got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Reichlin. 12 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Temperley's Hermengildo Raymon broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 13th minute, Raphael Alabor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Rolando Lopez notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Liechtenstein City's Florian Bürzle. Florian Bürzle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cristiano Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florian Bürzle having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Correia in the 21st minute of play forced Liechtenstein City's goalkeeper Florian Bürzle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Rossario Schlegel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Liechtenstein City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Temperley the free kick. A collision led to Liechtenstein City getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Rossario Schlegel hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristiano Correia in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florian Bürzle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Club Atlético Temperley's Cristiano Correia in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When Cristiano Correia came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Club Atlético Temperley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristiano Correia couldn't finish the play. 35 minutes into the match, Artemio Haritzeder notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Liechtenstein City's Florian Bürzle. Cristiano Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Florian Bürzle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florian Bürzle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristiano Correia in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Club Atlético Temperley were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristiano Correia to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Atlético Temperley's Cristiano Correia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Florian Bürzle. That made the score 0-8 after 51 minutes of play. With a little luck, Liechtenstein City's Florian Bürzle got control of the ball when Rolando Lopez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Florian Bürzle was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Orlando Cordarell capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Orlando Cordarell really showed his touch with that goal: 0-12. Florian Bürzle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristiano Correia went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-13 was the resulting score. Florian Bürzle came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Temperley's Cristiano Correia. But to his dismay, Cristiano Correia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-15. In the 80th minute, Club Atlético Temperley's Cristiano Correia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Florian Bürzle. Florian Bürzle yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-16. If Cristiano Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 84 minutes, the score became 0-17 when Cristiano Correia sped through Liechtenstein City's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Florian Bürzle. If Gaston Laurendi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristiano Correia in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florian Bürzle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Liechtenstein City's Florian Bürzle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristiano Correia in the 93rd minute of play. When Cristiano Correia, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 94 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Florian Bürzle was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Aníbal Solares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Club Atlético Temperley played a much better game than Liechtenstein City and deserved their victory. The Liechtenstein City players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
