In the 3rd minute, Benjamin Clemencin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vende Humo's Agustin Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tommy Sundberg in the 4th minute of play. If Shea Caballero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, Jiang Hong ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gottfrid Haström was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 17th minute, Enrique Ferreira made a precise shot to the right of Agustin Rossi. Vende Humo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. With a little luck, Pihl United's Gottfrid Haström got control of the ball when Jiang Hong tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 24 minutes Pihl United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Angelito Di Maria who took care of the corner kick. Agustin Rossi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Ferreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Vende Humo's Jiang Hong sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gottfrid Haström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 30th minute of the match Vende Humo got a corner. Pihl United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. The crowd rose to their feet as Vende Humo's Jiang Hong slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gottfrid Haström. That made the score 2-1 after 39 minutes of play. Jiang Hong struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Gottfrid Haström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vende Humo. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jiang Hong to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Pihl United's zone, Jiang Hong stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gottfrid Haström came out of the goal and Jiang Hong tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gabriel Jacobsson made in the 55th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Shea Caballero however managed to control. In the 58th minute, Shea Caballero reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Agustin Rossi. The goal made the score 2-2. Agustin Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enrique Ferreira in the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique Ferreira in the 68th minute of play forced Vende Humo's goalkeeper Agustin Rossi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agustin Rossi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tommy Sundberg's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Agustin Rossi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolaas Anelka in the 76th minute. Vende Humo's Agustin Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Ferreira in the 94th minute of play. Despite being the better team, Pihl United failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
