Spectators: 150 (Terracing: 113, Seating: 34, VIP seats: 3) FC Vlahuță's Costin Babarada started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes FC Vlahuță got a freekick which was hit by Esa Hagelberg. The crowd rose to their feet as Costin Babarada kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aloísio Abreu. That made the score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. In the 12th minute of the match, Costin Babarada tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aloísio Abreu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Aloísio Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costin Babarada, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petru Bute in the 15th minute of play forced Matadores FC's goalkeeper Aloísio Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inácio Vasconcelos lost his temper 17 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Matadores FC! Petru Bute could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Aloísio Abreu made a huge save. Petru Bute kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 21stth minute. Though ot was a great shot Matadores FC's keeper Aloísio Abreu was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Aloísio Abreu made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Petru Bute sent off a good shot on target. Aloísio Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costin Babarada in the 31st minute of play. Dacian Gugulanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Válbson Sarmento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Esa Hagelberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esa Hagelberg's late challenge caught a Matadores FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esa Hagelberg helped the player get up and apologised. After 42 played minutes FC Vlahuță got a freekick which was hit by Esa Hagelberg. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rogério Carneiro to make the kick off. Válbson Sarmento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Dacian Gugulanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aloísio Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costin Babarada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aloísio Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petru Bute in the 67th minute of play. Matadores FC's Aloísio Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costin Babarada in the 68th minute of play. If Costin Babarada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aloísio Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esa Hagelberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aloísio Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costin Babarada, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 87th match minute, Matadores FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerson Bueno to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to FC Vlahuță getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Esa Hagelberg hit a great ball. Válbson Sarmento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aloísio Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Esa Hagelberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute Petru Bute shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloísio Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Vlahuță were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Matadores FC for a fine match.
