Aloísio Abreu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christoph Gebuers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Nilton Fontes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Loui Volens. De Beverpatrouille's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nilton Fontes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Christoph Gebuers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute Nilton Fontes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loui Volens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erivaldo Moreno kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. In the 30th minute Barry Van Bever shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloísio Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute Zdzislaw Pilsudski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aloísio Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 46 minutes, Nilton Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matadores FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nilton Fontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Rogério Carneiro came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Matadores FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogério Carneiro couldn't finish the play.
Zdzislaw Pilsudski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Aloísio Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Barry Van Bever fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored De Beverpatrouille's protests and gave Barry Van Bever a yellow card for diving instead. Barry Van Bever hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Gernando Hermes hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Matadores FC's goalkeeper Aloísio Abreu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Barry Van Bever. Aloísio Abreu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Christoph Gebuers in the 65th minute. Matadores FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Christoph Gebuers scored to the left of an out of position Aloísio Abreu, making the score, 1-2. In the 69th minute, Válbson Sarmento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Loui Volens was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 72nd minute, Inácio Vasconcelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zdzislaw Pilsudski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Henri-Xavier Geeraerts could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Aloísio Abreu made a huge save. With an all-out effort, De Beverpatrouille's Aloísio Abreu threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Barry Van Bever, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Aloísio Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zdzislaw Pilsudski in the 81st minute of play. After 82 minutes Matadores FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Christoph Gebuers who took care of the corner kick. Christoph Gebuers made a great header on De Beverpatrouille's corner, it was just that Matadores FC's Aloísio Abreu managed to reach the ball for a save. Erivaldo Moreno kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. With a little luck, Matadores FC's Aloísio Abreu got control of the ball when Christoph Gebuers tried to sneak it across the goal line. De Beverpatrouille's Loui Volens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erivaldo Moreno in the 95th minute of play. Aloísio Abreu made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Christoph Gebuers sent off a good shot on target. Aloísio Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barry Van Bever, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
