A well-hit corner resulted in Marcelo Trobbiani heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Dacian Gugulanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saverio Teofilio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Vlahuță's Dacian Gugulanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hans-Martin Istad in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Masters United F.C.'s Saverio Teofilio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dacian Gugulanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans-Martin Istad in the 17th minute of play forced FC Vlahuță's goalkeeper Dacian Gugulanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radomir Czerwinski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enrique Bologna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute Hans-Martin Istad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dacian Gugulanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to FC Vlahuță getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Olimpiu Vulcănescu hit a great ball. Dacian Gugulanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saverio Teofilio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dacian Gugulanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Rafe, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Dacian Gugulanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saverio Teofilio in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of Masters United F.C. booed when FC Vlahuță was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olimpiu Vulcănescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Masters United F.C.'s Anselmo Ted broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Radomir Czerwinski charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Radomir Czerwinski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dacian Gugulanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Petru Bute to make the kick off. Dacian Gugulanu stood somewhat misplaced when Hans-Martin Istad came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 54 minute. If Hans-Martin Istad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Masters United F.C.'s Herminio Frantzes was substituted for Celso Hotz. Emanuel Bălășoiu hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Dacian Gugulanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Ted, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, FC Vlahuță's Dacian Gugulanu got control of the ball when Florencio Rafe tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saverio Teofilio got free with Dacian Gugulanu in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 69 minutes into the match, FC Vlahuță's goal looked a bit too open when Hans-Martin Istad came free, but Dacian Gugulanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Masters United F.C.'s Hans-Martin Istad sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dacian Gugulanu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 85th minute of the match, Hans-Martin Istad tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dacian Gugulanu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. FC Vlahuță's Dacian Gugulanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save FC Vlahuță from getting a goal against them. Florencio Rafe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Dacian Gugulanu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Hans-Martin Istad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dacian Gugulanu having to interfere. Masters United F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
