Barry Van Bever dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barry Van Bever in the 11th minute of play forced Matadores FC's goalkeeper Aloísio Abreu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Loui Volens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilton Fontes in the 14th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Matadores FC's goalkeeper Aloísio Abreu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Barry Van Bever. Gernando Hermes's late challenge caught a De Beverpatrouille's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gernando Hermes helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Matadores FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! 26 minutes into the game, Christoph Gebuers cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Aloísio Abreu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. De Beverpatrouille's Loui Volens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilton Fontes in the 36th minute of play. Barry Van Bever hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Loui Volens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilton Fontes in the 42nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Nilton Fontes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Loui Volens was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Alexandre Ponte hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Loui Volens was a little too slow when Rogério Carneiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 1-2. Matadores FC's Válbson Sarmento got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Eduard Postolache hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Matadores FC booed when De Beverpatrouille was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandre Ponte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Válbson Sarmento came free with the goalkeeper in the 73rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Loui Volens could save by the left post. Aloísio Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barry Van Bever, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Gernando Hermes got his second yellow card in the match during the 77th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Gernando Hermes hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Aloísio Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Barry Van Bever in the 82nd minute of play. Gerson Bueno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Loui Volens made a huge save. If Rogério Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matadores FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
