A collision led to Austra 04 VFC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Tomé Damião hit a great ball. Beila Mora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edvin van der Sar having to interfere. Sócrates Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Edvin van der Sar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edoardo Pasin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hudson Gaúcho having to interfere. Hudson Gaúcho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Luís Nogueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arda Güler during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Arda Güler hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Senator S.A.K's Edvin van der Sar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Senator S.A.K from getting a goal against them. 30 minutes into the match, Austra 04 VFC's Beila Mora sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edvin van der Sar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Beila Mora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Edvin van der Sar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Senator S.A.K's Edvin van der Sar got control of the ball when Beila Mora tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edvin van der Sar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beila Mora, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Beila Mora kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. If Beila Mora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Beila Mora to make the kick off. Edvin van der Sar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Beila Mora's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. In the 52nd minute, Beila Mora got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sócrates Silva in the 55th minute of play forced Senator S.A.K's goalkeeper Edvin van der Sar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sílvio Luís Nogueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. İhsan Özgun's late challenge caught a Austra 04 VFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. İhsan Özgun helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Senator S.A.K's İhsan Özgun got a free kick in the 57th minute. Sílvio Luís Nogueira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Senator S.A.K's goal looked a bit too open when Beila Mora came free, but Edvin van der Sar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edvin van der Sar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beila Mora, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Austra 04 VFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Senator S.A.K a penalty, 74 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mehdi Dündaroğlu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Austra 04 VFC's Hudson Gaúcho. 0-1. Austra 04 VFC made a substitution. Marcus Pollard replaced Beila Mora. A throw-in in the 83rd minute of the game was made by Tomé Damião with Ahmet Erdem Zekai as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Ahmet Erdem Zekai might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edvin van der Sar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmet Erdem Zekai ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Austra 04 VFC booed when Senator S.A.K was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sílvio Luís Nogueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Soner Ilgın during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ahmet Erdem Zekai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edvin van der Sar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Edvin van der Sar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wellington Pires in the 93rd minute of play. Hudson Gaúcho came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Senator S.A.K's Edoardo Pasin. But to his dismay, Edoardo Pasin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The Austra 04 VFC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Senator S.A.K to win.
