Slower Lower FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Night Cats the free kick. In the 12th match minute, Slower Lower FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilano Muc to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the match, Slower Lower FC's goalkeeper Ross Buchanan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xabat Acedo. Slower Lower FC's Ross Buchanan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Slower Lower FC from getting a goal against them. Sepp Meier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Derick Murry in the 14th minute of play. When Slower Lower FC's Derick Murry in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SC Night Cats's goalie prevented a goal. Edmund Bochynski's late challenge caught a SC Night Cats's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Hinrich Heinzmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ross Buchanan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Berthold Wüsthoff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ross Buchanan having to interfere. Xabat Acedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sepp Meier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Derick Murry in the 31st minute of the match. Xabat Acedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ross Buchanan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xabat Acedo ran back to his position shaking his head. 42 minutes in the game, Freddi Butenschön fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ross Buchanan having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Derick Murry stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, SC Night Cats's goalkeeper Sepp Meier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jörn Emmel. 55 minutes into the match, SC Night Cats's goal looked a bit too open when Derick Murry came free, but Sepp Meier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, SC Night Cats's Sepp Meier got control of the ball when Derick Murry tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sepp Meier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Derick Murry in the 65th minute of the match. Ross Buchanan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Halbich in the 80th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Hinrich Heinzmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jörn Emmel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
