In the 18th minute Leopoldo Nuñez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Behe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cayetano Behe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agustin Villalobos, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. 24 minutes into the match, Deportivo Balvanera's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Nuñez came free, but Cayetano Behe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cayetano Behe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinicio Medina in the 26th minute of play. Cayetano Behe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After 83 minutes Deportivo Balvanera's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Macho Madrigal who took care of the corner kick. The corner led PUNTARENAS F.C's Macho Madrigal to fire away a dangerous shot which Cayetano Behe despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 85th minute Chucky Norris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Behe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Leonel Ortiz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Cayetano Behe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Macho Madrigal might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cayetano Behe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Macho Madrigal ran back to his position shaking his head. Chucky Norris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 95 minutes into the game, PUNTARENAS F.C's Chucky Norris nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cayetano Behe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1.
