Spectators: 166 (Terracing: 125, Seating: 38, VIP seats: 3) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Vinicio Medina started the match with the kick off. After 6 played minutes Deportivo Balvanera got a freekick which was hit by Fabricio Errapel. Macho Madrigal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Behe having to interfere. Cayetano Behe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Macho Madrigal in the 10th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Lisandro López recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Virgilio Rojas. Lisandro López showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Virgilio Rojas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Taurino in the 18th minute of play. Julian Gaueko scored 1-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cayetano Behe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 24 minutes into the match, Deportivo Balvanera's goal looked a bit too open when Macho Madrigal came free, but Cayetano Behe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Gaueko in the 27th minute of play forced Deportivo Balvanera's goalkeeper Cayetano Behe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Virgilio Rojas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Diego Milito in the 28th minute. Marciano Koldobika didn't quite understand what happened when in the 32 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. 35 minutes into the match, Diego Milito notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of PUNTARENAS F.C's Virgilio Rojas. Virgilio Rojas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 40 minutes into the match, Deportivo Balvanera's goal looked a bit too open when Vinicio Medina came free, but Cayetano Behe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cayetano Behe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Gaueko, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The wind increased when Diego Milito made the kick off in the second half. Deportivo Balvanera's Cayetano Behe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Ortiz in the 54th minute of play. Virgilio Rojas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lisandro López, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Vinicio Medina in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. With an all-out effort, PUNTARENAS F.C's Cayetano Behe threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Julian Gaueko, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Deportivo Balvanera's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
