When Vatan Enfal, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 6 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Carlos Navarro Montoya was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 10 minutes into the game, Arroyito FC's Gabriel-Omar Santirso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anton Björnberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Vatan Enfal received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Carlos Navarro Montoya came out and tried to block the shot, but Vatan Enfal slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 14th minute. In the 17th minute of the match Venancio Etor sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anton Björnberg skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel-Omar Santirso in the 19th minute of play forced Inter de Chillán's goalkeeper Anton Björnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anton Björnberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervasio Unax in the 24th minute of the match. With a little luck, Arroyito FC's Carlos Navarro Montoya got control of the ball when Vatan Enfal tried to sneak it across the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Inter de Chillán's Vatan Enfal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Carlos Navarro Montoya narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carlos Navarro Montoya made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Vatan Enfal sent off a good shot on target. 35 minutes into the match, Arroyito FC's goalkeeper Carlos Navarro Montoya had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vatan Enfal. If Gabriel-Omar Santirso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gabriel-Omar Santirso was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Arroyito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vatan Enfal came free, but Carlos Navarro Montoya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arroyito FC's Carlos Navarro Montoya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vatan Enfal in the 56th minute of play. Florencio Jax received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Carlos Navarro Montoya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vatan Enfal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Navarro Montoya read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. Vatan Enfal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rickard Erserman took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Navarro Montoya. Carlos Navarro Montoya dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Arroyito FC's Carlos Navarro Montoya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rickard Erserman in the 69th minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Rickard Erserman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel-Omar Santirso in the 74th minute of play forced Inter de Chillán's goalkeeper Anton Björnberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mercurio San Martín charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mercurio San Martín the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 76th minute, one of Inter de Chillán:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Inter de Chillán. Rickard Erserman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Navarro Montoya read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Arroyito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rickard Erserman came free, but Carlos Navarro Montoya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rickard Erserman in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Navarro Montoya prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 87 minutes, Rickard Erserman made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Arroyito FC's Carlos Navarro Montoya tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Florencio Jax sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Inter de Chillán walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
