Seating: 36, VIP seats: 3) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Steven Chaptal kicked off to start the match. Christian Kerville showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Răzvan Mumuleanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Rick Souness recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Neal Weatherby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gheorghe Herea in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christian Kerville prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 17 minutes into the game, Elderslie Magpies's Steven Chaptal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pompiliu Zmărăndescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Pompiliu Zmărăndescu came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Elderslie Magpies's Ovidio Etxekopar. But to his dismay, Ovidio Etxekopar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gheorghe Herea got free with Christian Kerville in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iulian Udrescu kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. If Rick Souness had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute of the match, Răzvan Mumuleanu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Christian Kerville saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 32 minutes into the match, Elderslie Magpies's Steven Chaptal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pompiliu Zmărăndescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Christian Kerville took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldemar Mule, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Ovidio Etxekopar made a precise shot to the right of Pompiliu Zmărăndescu. FC Brink's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Răzvan Mumuleanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Brink's supporters rose to their feet, but Răzvan Mumuleanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Kerville breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Elderslie Magpies booed when FC Brink was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelian Voinea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pompiliu Zmărăndescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rick Souness in the 43rd minute of the match. Waldemar Mule blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christian Kerville having to make a save.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gheorghe Herea to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the FC Brink defense, Rick Souness kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pompiliu Zmărăndescu. The FC Brink fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pompiliu Zmărăndescu should have stopped the shot. If Neal Weatherby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Rick Souness had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Răzvan Mumuleanu in the 63rd minute of play forced Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper Christian Kerville to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Elderslie Magpies's Pompiliu Zmărăndescu threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sam Mccartan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rick Souness fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pompiliu Zmărăndescu having to interfere. A collision led to FC Brink getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Jerry Priest hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Neal Weatherby got free with Pompiliu Zmărăndescu in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pompiliu Zmărăndescu was a little too slow when Neal Weatherby got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 0-5. Ovidio Etxekopar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Pompiliu Zmărăndescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Brink's Călin Macrea got a free kick in the 77th minute. Christian Kerville didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gheorghe Herea went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gheorghe Herea in the 87th minute of play forced Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper Christian Kerville to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute, Iulian Udrescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94th minute, Neal Weatherby ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pompiliu Zmărăndescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. Elderslie Magpies were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over FC Brink's much stronger midfield.
