After 25 played minutes Cebollas got a freekick which was hit by Agamenón Gutierrez. Sarracino De la Rosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tor Bern, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Tor Bern might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sarracino De la Rosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Agamenón Gutierrez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Cebollas's Lluis Idiaquez got a free kick in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tor Bern made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agamenón Gutierrez in the 59th minute of play forced Azul Y Plomo's goalkeeper Zacarias Cabrero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Tor Bern took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Sarracino De la Rosa to make any attempt to save it. Azul Y Plomo's Latif Biçim was substituted for Teo Alberdi. Azul Y Plomo's Hector-Luis Arzola was substituted for Tor Bern. 69 minutes into the game, Azul Y Plomo's Latif Biçim nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sarracino De la Rosa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Latif Biçim scored 1-3 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sarracino De la Rosa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Azul Y Plomo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
