Diego Leocadio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Oliverio Kahn firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 12th minute, Saturnino Romo made a precise shot to the right of Leonardo Loco. Atlético Matorrales's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Matorrales's goalkeeper Leonardo Loco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Leonardo Loco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saturnino Romo's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Leonardo Loco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Romo in the 21st minute of the match. The throw-in from Jeremias Hitz in the 23rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Joel Carli. Saturnino Romo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonardo Loco having to make a save. Leonardo Loco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saturnino Romo, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After a rather tough play, Atlético Matorrales's Jeremias Hitz got a free kick in the 24th minute. Saturnino Romo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonardo Loco having to make a save. Leonardo Loco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saturnino Romo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leonardo Loco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Romo in the 41st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeo Quilino in the 45th minute of play forced ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s goalkeeper Oliverio Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Saturnino Romo to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnino Romo in the 51st minute of play forced Atlético Matorrales's goalkeeper Leonardo Loco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 52 minutes into the match, Atlético Matorrales's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Romo came free, but Leonardo Loco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saturnino Romo in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonardo Loco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Saturnino Romo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonardo Loco was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. 58 minutes into the match, Atlético Matorrales's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Romo came free, but Leonardo Loco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the game, Jeremias Hitz threw the ball into play from the sideline. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Joel Carli quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 60th minute, Saturnino Romo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Leonardo Loco. After 66 minutes Atlético Matorrales's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tobias Xacintu who took care of the corner kick. Ezequiel Lavezzi was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. If Jerzy Marchefka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leonardo Loco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerzy Marchefka in the 69th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Jerzy Marchefka slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Leonardo Loco. That made the score 0-4 after 71 minutes of play. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Jerzy Marchefka got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Atlético Matorrales's Leonardo Loco got control of the ball when Jerzy Marchefka tried to sneak it across the goal line. Leonardo Loco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerzy Marchefka, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Matorrales's goalkeeper Leonardo Loco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Matorrales's goalkeeper Leonardo Loco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
