With a little luck, Grasshoppers Klucze's Tanek Bielejewski got control of the ball when Don Romário tried to sneak it across the goal line. Radarowcy Szczecin's Radomir Zurawski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugon Imbor in the 19th minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Grasshoppers Klucze was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Barrionuevo to maneuver through the defense. Radarowcy Szczecin's Radomir Zurawski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugon Imbor in the 29th minute of play. The corner led Radarowcy Szczecin's Herbert Kocieniewski to fire away a dangerous shot which Tanek Bielejewski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 33 played minutes Radarowcy Szczecin got a freekick which was hit by Krzysztof Lichniak. Pedro Ferdinand kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Tanek Bielejewski made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Adam Niziolek sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Don Romário during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 40th minute, Don Romário hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 42 minutes into the match, Grasshoppers Klucze's Hugon Imbor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Radomir Zurawski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 47th minute Adam Niziolek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tanek Bielejewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After having played for 70 minutes, Hieronim Skrzypek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grasshoppers Klucze's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hieronim Skrzypek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Radarowcy Szczecin's Radomir Zurawski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Radarowcy Szczecin from getting a goal against them. Radomir Zurawski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Igor Praski in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugon Imbor in the 74th minute of play forced Radarowcy Szczecin's goalkeeper Radomir Zurawski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radomir Zurawski was a little too slow when Hugon Imbor got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 0-3. Kacper Charamut could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Radomir Zurawski made a huge save. Grasshoppers Klucze's Kacper Charamut got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Grasshoppers Klucze's Karol Kolbert was substituted for Hieronim Skrzypek. In the 93rd minute, Tadeusz Raschke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tadeusz Raschke scored 0-4 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Radomir Zurawski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Grasshoppers Klucze's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
