When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jano Maciel made a kick off. After 85 played minutes Motståndarlaget got a freekick which was hit by Fero Sabon. When Santa Clausius came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Santa Clausius couldn't finish the play. Thomas Ravelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clarence Makélélé in the 88th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Richard Laws hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Motståndarlaget played a much better game than ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ and deserved their victory. The ꉓꍏꋪꉣꂦꀸꋪꂦꂵꂦ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
