Spectators: 154 (Terracing: 116, Seating: 35, VIP seats: 3) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Laércio Penha got the match started through his kick off. Laércio Penha took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isidoro Figueiras. Isidoro Figueiras dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 5th minute, Sivert Strömqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isidoro Figueiras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laércio Penha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laércio Penha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isidoro Figueiras read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Di Yang Lei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nova Iguaçu MZFC made a substitution. Caco Matos replaced Andrézinho Vaz. Jan-Erik Wållander struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Mickaël Maris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fluffe BK. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Mickaël Maris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Wennerqvist in the 20th minute of play. Mickaël Maris made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Claes Mattsson sent off a good shot on target. Sivert Strömqvist hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Olavo Costa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Klas Skog in the 30 minute of the game. Mickaël Maris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Wennerqvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 37 minutes into the match, Laércio Penha notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Fluffe BK's Isidoro Figueiras. Isidoro Figueiras was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mickaël Maris came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Fluffe BK's Joel Wennerqvist. But to his dismay, Joel Wennerqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Lennart Hagberg kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's Laércio Penha got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Mickaël Maris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurt Bohlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. In the 56th match minute, Fluffe BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Johan Björkman to maneuver through the defense. In the 57thth minute of the game Laércio Penha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fluffe BK's Isidoro Figueiras was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mickaël Maris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claes Mattsson in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Nova Iguaçu MZFC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Wennerqvist came free, but Mickaël Maris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fluffe BK's Isidoro Figueiras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laércio Penha in the 64th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Laércio Penha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jerônimo Favoretto struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Isidoro Figueiras didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nova Iguaçu MZFC. In the 84th match minute, Nova Iguaçu MZFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Mazza to maneuver through the defense. After 84 played minutes, Fluffe BK's Claes Mattsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mickaël Maris came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fluffe BK reached it. In the 85th match minute, Fluffe BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klas Skog to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, Fluffe BK's goal looked a bit too open when Laércio Penha came free, but Isidoro Figueiras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 91 minutes, Laércio Penha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nova Iguaçu MZFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laércio Penha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
