The audience thought a goal was coming when Thomas Vollmar got free with Tasos Brizolakos in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mikolaj Jerzyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Bartuelo in the 4th minute of play. Thomas Vollmar might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tasos Brizolakos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thomas Vollmar ran back to his position shaking his head. 12 minutes into the game, Vodka Juniors's Maximino Veronica nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mikolaj Jerzyk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Tasos Brizolakos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kajetan Kochniarczyk showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 15 minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Newcastle United's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Veronica came free, but Mikolaj Jerzyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute Newcastle United were awarded a corner. Zé Paulo Zonta went to the cornerflag to take it. Zé Paulo Zonta made a great header on Newcastle United's corner, it was just that Vodka Juniors's Tasos Brizolakos managed to reach the ball for a save. 30 minutes into the match, Newcastle United's Pankracy Malicki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tasos Brizolakos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 32 minutes into the game, one of Newcastle United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 35 played minutes Pankracy Malicki rounded Vodka Juniors's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. Pankracy Malicki might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tasos Brizolakos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pankracy Malicki ran back to his position shaking his head. Tasos Brizolakos came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Newcastle United's Thomas Vollmar. But to his dismay, Thomas Vollmar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.
The wind increased when Thomas Vollmar made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Newcastle United getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Pankracy Malicki hit a great ball. If Roberto Bartuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute, Adam Pacholewski made a precise shot to the right of Tasos Brizolakos. Vodka Juniors's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Newcastle United's Benedykt Gdaniec was substituted for Tadeusz Pstrongowski. The supporters of Vodka Juniors booed when Newcastle United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pankracy Malicki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Faustino Totakoxe replaced Roberto Bartuelo. Placido Kepa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Newcastle United's Thomas Vollmar in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With an all-out effort, Vodka Juniors's Mikolaj Jerzyk threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Placido Polo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Adam Pacholewski took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tasos Brizolakos. Tasos Brizolakos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Ruben Aztore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Mikolaj Jerzyk made a huge save. Tasos Brizolakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Vollmar in the 88th minute of play. Tasos Brizolakos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kajetan Kochniarczyk in the 89th minute of play. Newcastle United's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
