If Miguel Hernánde Arrué had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Miguel Hernánde Arrué might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geovanildo Silva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miguel Hernánde Arrué ran back to his position shaking his head. Grêmio Prudente's Geovanildo Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Hernánde Arrué in the 16th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Grêmio Prudente's Hermenegildo Pádua got a free kick in the 18th minute. Geovanildo Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Aliste in the 18th minute of play. Ferrán Suarez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gomesano Gatica in the 21st minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Grêmio Prudente's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Hernánde Arrué came free, but Geovanildo Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pepino’s's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edson Ribeiro was slow to take the kick. During this time Grêmio Prudente's players had a chance to rest. Ferrán Suarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucrețiu Grigore, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. C.D. Pepino’s's Ferrán Suarez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save C.D. Pepino’s from getting a goal against them. When Miguel Hernánde Arrué came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the C.D. Pepino’s fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Hernánde Arrué couldn't finish the play. C.D. Pepino’s's defense didn't have a chance, in the 46th minute, when Gomesano Gatica scored to the left of an out of position Ferrán Suarez, making the score, 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.
The wind increased when Miguel Hernánde Arrué made the kick off in the second half. Ferrán Suarez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gomesano Gatica went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Ferrán Suarez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gomesano Gatica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 58 minutes of play, Grêmio Prudente's Gomesano Gatica made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ferrán Suarez was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, C.D. Pepino’s's Ervigio Jaras got a free kick in the 60th minute. Ferrán Suarez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edson Ribeiro's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute of the game Pedro Augusto Sena made a throw-in which Eleuterio Gaztea played forward. In the 64th minute Gomesano Gatica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferrán Suarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurelio Raffo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geovanildo Silva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute Mo Wei Xing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferrán Suarez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th minute, Edson Ribeiro made a precise shot to the right of Ferrán Suarez. C.D. Pepino’s's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Geovanildo Silva stood somewhat misplaced when Miguel Hernánde Arrué came free in front of goal and shot 5-1 to the left of him in the 77 minute. 80 minutes into the match, Gomesano Gatica notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of C.D. Pepino’s's Ferrán Suarez. Ferrán Suarez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ferrán Suarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucrețiu Grigore, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. The referee showed Aurelio Raffo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Grêmio Prudente walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
