Slavomil Kalný showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimír Ambrosetti in the 7th minute of the match. The supporters of ☠QUINTERO☠ booed when Tenha Dó Dó Dó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Zanette didn't get a good kick on the ball. Casimír Ambrosetti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Slavomil Kalný tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by César Carneiro during the 19th minute. Slavomil Kalný dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 34th minute Frédson Schmidt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Slavomil Kalný saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tenha Dó Dó Dó's Slavomil Kalný played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Hellström in the 37th minute of play. Casimír Ambrosetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lambe Kü got free with Slavomil Kalný in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
