Without hesitation aimed to the right of Andreas Hansen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Habo Grindavík's Brjánn Ingvarsson got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andreas Hansen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geirarður Knútsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andreas Hansen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernst Játmundsson in the 20th minute. Ernst Játmundsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Andreas Hansen made a huge save. 22 minutes into the match, FC Nordsjælland's goal looked a bit too open when Safír Geislason came free, but Andreas Hansen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andreas Hansen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brjánn Ingvarsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Fjörnir Vilmarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Geirólfur Hálfdánsson charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geirólfur Hálfdánsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 31st match minute, Habo Grindavík was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geirólfur Hálfdánsson to maneuver through the defense. The referee felt a red card was in order, 34 minutes into the game, when Fjörnir Vilmarsson put in a rough tackle. Fjörnir Vilmarsson kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Safír Geislason took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Andreas Hansen to make any attempt to save it. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ernst Játmundsson was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yulian Kichukov in the 55th minute of play forced Habo Grindavík's goalkeeper Betúel Jósefsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the last second Betúel Jósefsson throw himself and got hold of the ball when Yulian Kichukov in the 57thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Dimitar Berbatov kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Betúel Jósefsson. That made the score 3-1 in the 58 minute of play. In the 62nd minute, FC Nordsjælland's Yulian Kichukov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Betúel Jósefsson. Betúel Jósefsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. Jeppe Tverskov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Betúel Jósefsson made a huge save. Safír Geislason hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. FC Nordsjælland's Andreas Hansen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brjánn Ingvarsson in the 70th minute of play. If Yulian Kichukov had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th match minute, Habo Grindavík was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geirarður Knútsson to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Habo Grindavík's Snæbjörn Ellertsson got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 87 minutes into the match, Habo Grindavík's goal looked a bit too open when Yulian Kichukov came free, but Betúel Jósefsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Safír Geislason struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Andreas Hansen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Habo Grindavík. 91 minutes into the match, FC Nordsjælland's goal looked a bit too open when Ernst Játmundsson came free, but Andreas Hansen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andreas Hansen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Safír Geislason went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score.
