Chris Tinselboer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paco Trujillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 9 minutes into the match, FCF north's goal looked a bit too open when Paco Trujillo came free, but Chris Tinselboer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Downchester City's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Andrés Figueroa in the 11th minute. 12 minutes into the match, Downchester City's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Steelman came free, but Saturnin Darroja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Hans-Cees Zwaanswijk threw the ball into play from the sideline. Downchester City's Romo Hidalgo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Saturnin Darroja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ed Bijlsma in the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paco Trujillo in the 20th minute of play forced FCF north's goalkeeper Chris Tinselboer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 25 minutes, Edgar Baan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FCF north and the Downchester City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edgar Baan hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute, Andrés Figueroa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, FCF north's goal looked a bit too open when Paco Trujillo came free, but Chris Tinselboer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, FCF north's Chris Tinselboer got control of the ball when Paco Trujillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chris Tinselboer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paco Trujillo went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in FCF north's zone, Paco Trujillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chris Tinselboer came out of the goal and Paco Trujillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, FCF north's Hans-Cees Zwaanswijk got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Paco Trujillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Downchester City's supporters rose to their feet, but Paco Trujillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chris Tinselboer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Downchester City booed when FCF north was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans-Cees Zwaanswijk didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paco Trujillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Paco Trujillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Chris Tinselboer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the FCF north defense, Paco Trujillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chris Tinselboer. The FCF north fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chris Tinselboer should have stopped the shot. Paco Trujillo scored 4-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chris Tinselboer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FCF north's Chris Tinselboer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paco Trujillo in the 65th minute of play. Paco Trujillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Chris Tinselboer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paco Trujillo in the 72nd minute of play forced FCF north's goalkeeper Chris Tinselboer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paco Trujillo struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Chris Tinselboer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Downchester City. 81 minutes into the game, Downchester City's Andrés Figueroa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chris Tinselboer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Edgar Baan got a throw-in 87 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Arcan Çapan. Downchester City's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
