Faustino Bordon helped the player get up and apologised. Faustino Bordon kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. If Parto Pernas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Phan Tomas kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 20th minute of the match Olavarria FC got a corner. AJAX's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mauro Kotlar ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Olavarria FC's corner Catalino Rivarola fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Igor Zambujal quite easily take care of the ball. 21 minutes into the match, AJAX's goalkeeper Igor Zambujal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaias Matas. Olavarria FC's Leslie Macaraat managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Phan Tomas in the 25 minute of the game. Thys Lenoir hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. The Olavarria FC fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Olavarria FC's Isaias Matas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 42nd match minute, AJAX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodoro Manso to maneuver through the defense. Igor Zambujal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Kotlar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ali Kağan Güzir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Isaias Matas made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Michel Hendrickx managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when AJAX's Parto Pernas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Matas in the 64th minute of play forced AJAX's goalkeeper Igor Zambujal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isaias Matas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Igor Zambujal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olavarria FC's Ervigio Ojeda was substituted for Isaias Matas. In the 72nd minute, Ervigio Ojeda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Olavarria FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 75th minute, Parto Pernas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Igor Zambujal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ervigio Ojeda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the AJAX defense, Ervigio Ojeda kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Igor Zambujal. The AJAX fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Igor Zambujal should have stopped the shot. Igor Zambujal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ervigio Ojeda in the 92nd minute of the match. The Olavarria FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
