The audience was convinced that Charis Droumalias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dave Padula was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Dave Padula was left in no man's land by his defense there! Enzo Di Croce lost his temper 40 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 39 minutes into the game, one of As Melfi 1929:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 42nd minute there was a penalty for Seahawks V55. Manolis Kalergis stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dave Padula. 5-0. 46 minutes into the match, Giannis Nekos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dave Padula. As Melfi 1929's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giannis Nekos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Davide Muciaccia to make the kick off.
