Borgo Doria F.C.'s Corrado Spitaleri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remington Alves in the 14th minute of play. Fabio Bottone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Takis Oikonomopoulos made a huge save. 21 minutes into the game, Alberto Scutti cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Takis Oikonomopoulos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Corrado Spitaleri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Czeslaw Peczkowski in the 27th minute of play. Alberto Scutti came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Takis Oikonomopoulos could save by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Scutti got free with Takis Oikonomopoulos in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 35 minutes into the match, Charles De Ketelaere notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Borgo Doria F.C.'s Corrado Spitaleri. Corrado Spitaleri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Borneo Legacy's Takis Oikonomopoulos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Borneo Legacy from getting a goal against them. 40 minutes into the match, Borneo Legacy's goal looked a bit too open when Ercole Mian came free, but Takis Oikonomopoulos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabio Bottone took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Takis Oikonomopoulos. Takis Oikonomopoulos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Borneo Legacy players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
