Rahim Kornes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Costa Pacífico FC were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Seraċini Għawdxin's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fan Xing Cheng took the corner. The corner led Costa Pacífico FC's Bernt Göransson to fire away a dangerous shot which Rahim Kornes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some careless play in the Costa Pacífico FC defense, Song Wei Yun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mateo Pedraza. The Costa Pacífico FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mateo Pedraza should have stopped the shot. In the 21st minute Seraċini Għawdxin were awarded a corner. Samuel Griffin went to the cornerflag to take it. Mateo Pedraza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Negro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rahim Kornes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lennart Bengtsson in the 24th minute. Seraċini Għawdxin's Rahim Kornes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sentis Ciblis in the 32nd minute of play. Mateo Pedraza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Song Wei Yun in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Neil Degabriele ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mateo Pedraza was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Song Wei Yun took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mateo Pedraza. Mateo Pedraza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 42nd minute, Fernando Negro made a precise shot to the right of Mateo Pedraza. Costa Pacífico FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sentis Ciblis in the 45th minute of play forced Seraċini Għawdxin's goalkeeper Rahim Kornes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harry Potter kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Bernt Göransson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rahim Kornes having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Song Wei Yun was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Song Wei Yun got free with Mateo Pedraza in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Fan Xing Cheng's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rahim Kornes was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. 60 minutes into the match, Costa Pacífico FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Negro came free, but Mateo Pedraza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fan Xing Cheng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, Miguel Caruana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mateo Pedraza was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Song Wei Yun showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 68 minute of play. Rahim Kornes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fan Xing Cheng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Costa Pacífico FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Sentis Ciblis hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Mateo Pedraza successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Costa Pacífico FC's Sentis Ciblis got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mateo Pedraza made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Samuel Griffin sent off a good shot on target. Samuel Griffin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Mateo Pedraza made a huge save. If Fan Xing Cheng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Seraċini Għawdxin booed when Costa Pacífico FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sentis Ciblis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Costa Pacífico FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Seraċini Għawdxin's performance. The match ended with a win for Seraċini Għawdxin.
