After 19 minutes of play, AntraX FDP.'s López Heredia made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Johan Schönberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! 22 minutes into the match, Cusco FC's goal looked a bit too open when López Heredia came free, but Johan Schönberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johan Schönberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Vime, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute López Heredia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Johan Schönberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. López Heredia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Johan Schönberg having to make a save. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell López Heredia to make the kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Cahya Tomagola kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Johan Schönberg. That made the score 0-4 in the 80 minute of play. Ismael Llantada hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute of the match Maximiliano Vime sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Johan Schönberg skillfully saved the ball. Carlos Zambrano made in the 87th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Maria Coronado immediately put the ball in play. Johan Schönberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valentyn Lobanovsjkyi, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing AntraX FDP. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
