An unexpectedly hard shot by Felice Juliano in the 3rd minute of play forced Vipos FC's goalkeeper Gervasio Ixaka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rafa Santos Borré got free with Staffan Eckegren in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 6 minutes, Fidel Jokin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vipos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fidel Jokin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vipos FC's Gervasio Ixaka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felice Juliano in the 7th minute of play. Gervasio Ixaka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Zaldua, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Vipos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Zaldua came free, but Gervasio Ixaka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13thth minute of the game Miguel Castanheira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but G A I S's Staffan Eckegren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Staffan Eckegren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Jokin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miguel Castanheira hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Zaldua in the 20th minute of play forced Vipos FC's goalkeeper Gervasio Ixaka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Rafa Santos Borré could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Staffan Eckegren however easily saved by the left post. Vipos FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Miguel Castanheira in the 27th minute. Gervasio Ixaka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felice Juliano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Staffan Eckegren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Jokin in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute of the match, Rafa Santos Borré got a very nice opportunity to score, but Staffan Eckegren was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

After 77 minutes Vipos FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cléber Marinho who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on G A I S's corner Cléber Marinho fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gervasio Ixaka quite easily take care of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fidel Jokin in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Staffan Eckegren saved G A I S from getting behind. Gervasio Ixaka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Zaldua, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Gervasio Ixaka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Zaldua in the 83rd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Vipos FC's goalkeeper Gervasio Ixaka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Norman Mabalane. In the 93rd match minute, G A I S was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Jernberg to maneuver through the defense.
