Vinicio Felipo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Koehler, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Tostão de Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinicio Felipo having to interfere. If Tostão de Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dida Gröhe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valer Bălășoiu in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, ARAUCARIA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valer Bălășoiu came free, but Dida Gröhe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute, Edmundo Koehler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dida Gröhe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valer Bălășoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, ARAUCARIA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ernesto Playo came free, but Dida Gröhe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Radomir Tomiczek in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dida Gröhe saved ARAUCARIA FC from getting behind. In the 42nd minute EL CERVECERO F.C. were awarded a corner. Radomir Tomiczek went to the cornerflag to take it. 郝霖宁 was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. ARAUCARIA FC's Jardel Corrêa couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 47th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for EL CERVECERO F.C..

53 minutes into the match, ARAUCARIA FC's goalkeeper Dida Gröhe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernesto Playo. In the 54th minute, Higinio Valente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Valente in the 90th minute of play forced ARAUCARIA FC's goalkeeper Dida Gröhe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st match minute, EL CERVECERO F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomir Tomiczek to maneuver through the defense.
