Club Puerto Quito's Mauricio Precioso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Club Puerto Quito from getting a goal against them. Iwan Banach's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mauricio Precioso firmly grabbed it by the left post. Mauricio Precioso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lode Rouvroys in the 14th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Dino Maquiano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kickers United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0.
