Empire of Soccer's supporters rose to their feet, but Xanthos Fikias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiago Godoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xanthos Fikias showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. Tiago Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xanthos Fikias in the 94th minute of play. The supporters of Empire of Soccer booed when São Paulo F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Gerber didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 98th minute, Ladislao Harriet reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tiago Godoi. The goal made the score 0-6. When the final whistle sounded Empire of Soccer left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than São Paulo F.C..
