Empire of Soccer's Nestor Guillelmus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Fernando Albuquerque in the 3rd minute of play. Stylus United were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Empire of Soccer's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ender Kayaer took the corner. Stylus United's Gustaf Holm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ladislao Harriet in the 6th minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Wit Beton heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 10th minute, Carlos Fernando Albuquerque ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nestor Guillelmus was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 12 minutes into the match, Empire of Soccer's Ladislao Harriet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gustaf Holm narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Empire of Soccer's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Teukros Diplarakos in the 14th minute. Teukros Diplarakos made a great header on Empire of Soccer's corner, it was just that Stylus United's Gustaf Holm managed to reach the ball for a save. Gustaf Holm showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ladislao Harriet in the 15th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlos Fernando Albuquerque in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nestor Guillelmus saved Empire of Soccer from getting behind. In the 22nd minute Abu Bakar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Guillelmus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nestor Guillelmus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tālis Cam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 31 minutes, Carlos Fernando Albuquerque managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stylus United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Fernando Albuquerque was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute Xanthos Fikias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaf Holm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute Abu Bakar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Guillelmus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Ender Kayaer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The wind increased when Carlos Fernando Albuquerque made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Stylus United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ender Kayaer to maneuver through the defense. After 60 played minutes, Empire of Soccer's Teukros Diplarakos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gustaf Holm came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Empire of Soccer reached it. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by Stylus United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Teukros Diplarakos was slow to take the kick. During this time Empire of Soccer's players had a chance to rest. In the 62nd match minute, Empire of Soccer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hernán Grana to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, Stylus United's goal looked a bit too open when Ladislao Harriet came free, but Gustaf Holm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustaf Holm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ladislao Harriet in the 74th minute of play. Gustaf Holm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xanthos Fikias, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Fernando Albuquerque got free with Nestor Guillelmus in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stylus United's Baturalp Koçhan was substituted for Hüsamettin Topçam. Stylus United's İskender Baki Ağcabey was substituted for Ender Kayaer. After 79 played minutes Stylus United got a freekick which was hit by Eriberto Tab. If Pavlos Galanopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustaf Holm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pavlos Galanopoulos in the 82nd minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Empire of Soccer's Pavlos Galanopoulos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gustaf Holm made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. If 김 용 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stylus United's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
