In the 7th minute Martin Cordarrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Du saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the game, Samir Hazlan threw the ball into play from the sideline. NDVX's Heriberto Cambronero quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK's Taha Günden played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Bento in the 13th minute of play. Martin Cordarrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Du tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK's Taha Günden got control of the ball when Kazimierz Birkenhagen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carlos Bento could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Taha Günden made a huge save. NDVX's Du played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Cordarrell in the 32nd minute of play. Martin Cordarrell struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Du didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK. 39 minutes into the match, NDVX's goal looked a bit too open when Martin Cordarrell came free, but Du reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK's 严志川 got a free kick in the 41st minute. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Cordarrell was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in ŞAHŞEHRİYAR FK's zone, Carlos Bento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Taha Günden came out of the goal and Carlos Bento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by 严志川 in the 56th minute of play forced NDVX's goalkeeper Du to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Du showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 严志川 in the 59th minute of the match. In the 61st match minute, NDVX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Bento to maneuver through the defense. Taha Günden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominik Pietrasz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
