Charles Volckaerts hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. NDVX's Du played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Peruxu in the 24th minute of play. Qu Hong Liang hit a great ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Du showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivar Axelsson in the 53rd minute of the match. Du made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonzo Peruxu in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alonzo Peruxu in the 57th minute of play forced NDVX's goalkeeper Du to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casper Jans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NDVX.
